In preparation for the 2026 World Menstrual Hygiene Day, Abby Cares Foundation collaborated with Spark and Sprout NGO and visited Enigwe Community Secondary School, Ezza Ofu, Izzi LGA, Ebonyi State, where over 400 students were sensitized on menstrual hygiene, personal health, sex education and healthy practices.
The session was interactive and impactful, with both girls and boys actively participating in discussions on hygiene, menstrual health, sex education and ending period stigma. At the end of the outreach, over 400 sanitary pads and snacks were distributed to the students, helping to promote menstrual dignity and keep girls confident and in school.
