ABBY CARES FOUNDATION IN ODAGERIDA, ABAKALIKI LGA, EBONYI STATE
Access to eye care should not depend on where you live or how much you earn. Today, Team Abby Cares Foundation successfully conducted a subsidized eye screening outreach in Odagerida, abakaliki Local Government Area, Ebonyi State, bringing essential eye care services closer to the community.
Community members accessed:
- Eye checks and vision screening
- Medical consultations
- Care for common eye problems
- Reading glasses dispensed.
Early eye checks can help identify vision problems and the need for further assessment or treatment. By bringing screening services closer to rural communities, we are helping reduce barriers to essential healthcare and encouraging people to take their eye health seriously. This outreach reflects our commitment to accessible primary healthcare, preventive health services and community-based medical outreach for undeserved populations.
