Below are our focus areas
Our health promotion services are tailored to the needs of the rural communities including preventive screenings, health education, FREE medical outreach, medical referrals for treatments at the secondary and tertiary hospitals and follow up at the PHC
Our FREE Medical Outreach Programs allows us to deliver health care/medical services to the underserved communities; reaching a broader segment of the population
To streamline the accessibility of care/medical treatment, the foundation receives referrals at the Primary Health Care Center (PHC) and via medical outreach. Patients are not charged for consultation with the physicians/nurses. The foundation assists in financing the cost of medical treatments. Prescribed medications are given at a discounted rate or FREE at the PHC through the foundation. Referrals to the secondary/tertiary medical institutions are prompt with assigned case managers for follow-up/checkup at the PHC.
To improve access to quality healthcare services for pregnant women and improved pregnancy outcomes, the foundation assists in financing the cost of registered antenatal patients requiring pregnancy ultrasound by subsidizing 50% of the cost including transportation to and from the PHC. Pregnant women also receive FREE medical consults and treatments through the Family Physician and Gynecologist.
