On December, first, the world stood united to raise awareness, support people living with HIV, and renew the fight to end AIDS.
Globally, 39 million people live with HIV. In Nigeria, 1.8 million people are affected — almost the size of a busy Nigerian city. New infections remain high, rising daily like passengers filling multiple buses.
In response, Abby Cares Foundation, with EBOSACA and partner NGOs, led a road walk and community sensitisation outreach across rural Ebonyi State — taking HIV education, testing awareness, and anti-stigma messages directly to underserved communities.

Our message was simple:
HIV is not a death sentence. Prevention begins with awareness.
Abby Cares Foundation remains committed to public health intervention, rural outreach, and ensuring no community is left behind.
Together, we can end AIDS. #Abbycaresfoundation
